Public Lands Day
Public Lands Day is an annual event that highlights the importance of preserving and protecting public lands. Individuals learn about the value of these lands and take action to support their protection, such as volunteering in cleanup efforts, trail maintenance, and placing signage.

Bioblitz
BioBlitz is an event that brings together scientists, naturalists, and enthusiasts to inventory and observe the biodiversity of selected areas in Basin and Range National Monument over a short period of time. Our BioBlitzes have enhanced our understanding of the monument's ecosystem and provided an opportunity for collaboration among different stakeholders.
Dark Sky
Visitors interested in astronomy and stargazing appreciate the natural nighttime beauty of Basin and Range National Monument. Dark Sky events raise awareness and appreciation for dark sky conservation, which is particularly relevant due to the monument’s remote location.
